Most landscape design starts with a sketch. We start with the site. Before a single line is drawn, we complete twenty five analyses of solar, wind, shade, soil and movement.

Evidence first, instinct second
A plan that follows the data holds up in a way a plan that follows taste does not. When sun, shade and wind are mapped across a podium or a street, the places people will actually use become clear, and so do the places they will avoid.
How people move shapes the plan
Desire lines, dwell points, shade seeking and peak hours tell us where a path should run and where a bench should sit. We design around observed behaviour, not assumed behaviour.
Every move, commercially defensible
For a developer, landscape has to earn its place. Usable hours gained, maintenance reduced and amenity value proven are the measures that put a design in front of a board and keep it there.
That is the idea behind Landscape Design Intelligence, the method we use on every masterplan, podium and public realm project.
